You are struggling with tough memories, feeling disconnected, and having a hard time living your life. Everything feels hard. Evelyn (she/her) uses a trauma-informed approach that considers sociocultural and political contexts impacting you and your mental health. She has a passion for working with those transitioning into adulthood (ages 18-26) and all the ups and downs that come with it! She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), specializes in trauma, and has served as an emergency room advocate for individuals who have experienced sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Evelyn also has over 10 years of experience working with immigrants and first-generation folks in community, school, and clinical settings.
Evelyn brings honesty, humor, and compassion into the therapy space and she is a strong advocate for honoring all parts of yourself (even the icky ones) to facilitate post-traumatic growth.
As a person in the world, Evelyn enjoys running, improv comedy, and her amazing black cat named Bo!
