Coming February 2026
Grief in Motion
Grief is a normal part of life. This group will focus on the loss of human life, recent or not, and the complexities that come from loss. We often cope better when we feel seen, can share our grief stories, and have opportunities to express emotions in spaces that value the importance of our losses.
Movement in nature can be a shared experience for grievers to feel a sense of belonging and peace. While movement, nature, and socialization individually support the grieving process, this group will combine these concepts with art modalities such as writing and other mediums for additional self-expression. No writing or artistic experience is required. Participants will want to have an interest in walking outdoors in the winter and exploring art mediums as a form of self-expression.
Some gear will be highly suggested for safety on snow/ice.
