Rebecca Kucker, LCSW
(She/her)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Currently accepting new clients: teens 16+, couples, and adults.
Rebecca is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated with a Masters in Social Work at Hunter College in 2017. Rebecca also holds a law degree that allows her to bring both compassion and an understanding of systemic barriers into the therapy room. She is originally from Long Island and is currently located in West Orange, New Jersey. Rebecca has the ability to see residents of New York virtually and will soon be able to do walk and talk therapy outdoors in Northern New Jersey.
Rebecca creates a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and understood. She specializes in working with people navigating ADHD and anxiety in the workplace, school, and wherever struggles turn up. She specifically enjoys working with moms, kids (12+) and older teens (16+), and emerging adults (18-25) who also face challenges with anxiety, ADHD and OCD. Most recently, Rebecca has decided to pursue a certification in couples therapy since she is currently supporting couples who need extra support with parenting/co-parenting and finds this work rewarding. She helps clients get unstuck and achieve what they want. In your work together, you will focus on both the practical and emotional pieces and build tools that actually work for you. As a multicultural therapist and someone who identifies as Hispanic, Rebecca brings an understanding of diverse families and individuals. Rebecca is collaborative and client-centered; she adapts therapy to your needs, whether that means slowing down and holding space or actively building coping skills and strategies you can use right away.
Rebecca’s number one hobby is reading. She also finds herself busy being a mom of two kids.
